Rickman_Motorcycles was a British, independent motorcycle chassis constructor established by brothers Derek and Don_Rickman. The firm manufactured motorcycles from 1960 through to 1975.

By 1985, before the Rickman brothers retired, Rickman Engineering Limited diversified into general engineering and into the production of four wheeled vehicles, namely the Rickman_Ranger and the Metisse sports coupe. Dave Gittins wrote a book in 2001 called “The_Rickman Story” which documented the complete story. Rickman, and later by the Lomax Company, produced over 1000 vehicles.
